Local Healthcare Education Center Launches Flood Relief Supply Drive for Newport, Greeneville, and Erwin, Tennessee
KNOXVILLE – The Mason Center for Healthcare Education has formed a supply drive to support communities in Newport, Greeneville, and Erwin, Tennessee which have been heavily impacted by recent flooding. The center will serve as a drop-off location for donations over the next few weeks to assist those in need of essential supplies.
Donations of water, non-perishable food items, diapers, wipes, baby food, pet food, and other necessities will be accepted Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Mason Center for Healthcare Education, located at 120 Market Place Blvd – Suite H, Knoxville, TN 37922.
“Our goal is to collect as many supplies as possible to support the relief efforts in these communities,” said Brandi Miller, Executive Director of The Mason Center for Healthcare Education. “These areas hold a special place for many of us, and we want to do what we can to help.”
The Mason Center for Healthcare Education has longstanding ties to the region, with staff members and their families having personal connections to Greeneville, Newport, and Erwin. The supply drive will help ensure that much-needed resources, especially water, reach those affected by the flooding.
Weekend or after hours drop-offs may also be arranged by contacting Brandi Miller directly. Community members are encouraged to contribute, and the center hopes to bring local efforts together for a meaningful impact.
